Installation and Dismantling
For an average shaft height of 40 metres, our system can be delivered and erected, tested and ready for use by site personnel within one and a half days. Unlike traditional scaffolding methods, it does not require a return to the site for adaptations.
We have also introduced the use of crash decks to assist with the building of the lift car at the top floor, again with minimal disruption to the installation program.
When the contract ends, the platforms can be struck and all equipment can be palletised for easy transportation from site. Using purpose built vehicles with tail lifts will then remove them from the site, which eradicates the need for forklifts or cranes.

Although the standard method of fixing our mast ties is to concrete lift shafts, we now have designed timber clamps to fix to architecturally designed and painted steelwork. This has enabled us to fix without damaging the paint finishes.
At our premises, we are able to fabricate and customise the work platform to suit all aspects of the installation works. We understand that all contracts are bespoke and pride ourselves on adapting to suit our client’s needs.
If you would like any more information about our installation and dismantling methods, or indeed any of the services we provide, please do not hesitate to contact one of our helpful and friendly team. When it comes to lift vertical access providers there is only one name you can trust – Onison.
